Have you ever cried your
eyes out? We have all went through the phase of growing up, and its hard to deny
that that secific time period was hard on us. She was just a girl struggling to
get through it like how we did.
Anne Frank lived in the period of violent chaos. Nazis left a horrible scar known as the "hollocost". To avoid the persecution, the family moved to Amsterdam. However, the Germans invaded the Netherlands, resulting them into hiding.
The hiding place is a
small secret annex above Otto Frank's office. There lived two families- the
Franks and the Van Daans. Anne disbosomes herself to her dear friend "Kitty".
Many stories she talkes about occurs in the attic. The story that we are most
likely able to relate to is her feelings towards Peter. Some people might say
that their mutual feelings were a teenage love affair. This is what breakes my
heart the most: They were two teenagers with delicate feelings.
Anne's chit chat ends at some point of her fifteenth birth year. Records say that she and her family was taken to Auschwitz. She died form typhoid at age sixteen. I guess sweet sixteen doesnt visit everyone.
Netherland in the 1930-40s wasnt easy for anyone. It has a historical significance- a reminde that such tradgidy should never occur again. Anne Frank lets us into her time and touches the deepest part of our souls. It is inevitable to feel for her, isnt it?
